This topic is rather broad as it can have either a localized impact or an extremely wide impact depending on who or what was breached.

 

If your personal computer system(s) gets breached, the impact beyond yourself is virtually zero. This doesn’t mean that you aren’t impacted in a major way and must deal with the reality that your data, information, and personal memories have been stolen from you.

 

For a business, company or organization the resulting fallout from a cyber / data breach can be truly massive. Damage to brand, revenue and the endless lawsuits to deal with can in some instances force a business to restructure, shut down and go out-of-business entirely.
